Freeways that bug me
I was driving from L.A. to San Luis Obispo today and got really mad when I accidently got on the 170 North. That took me a few minutes out of my way, until I could exit and get back on… but there was no connection from the 170S to the 101 North. None.
I had to get off onto a boulevard, follow some signs… but I messed up again. I could find three entrances for the 101 S (and the 134 E) which were not the way I wanted to go. Eventually I took the 134 E and drove for a while hoping I’d be able to get off and turn around real quick like you can anywhere else in the world.
No luck. After another 15-20 minutes of street driving, I finally found an entrance to the 134W and was eventually was driving north on the 101.
I’ve taken this route before and must have spaced at my interchange. I don’t normally consider myself a driver that can’t follow instructions or signs. But for crying out loud - why does it have to be so hard to get from one freeway to another in Los Angeles?
