Working Late
This is my third night in a row at the office past 1am.
Wow. Such are the joys of IT work, I suppose. The strange thing is, I really enjoy the challenges and stumble across many shards of enjoyment as I go along.
For instance: I’ve learned that people’s desks (workspaces) tell a lot about them. Family? Loved ones? Memorable times? This is the one place in our lives where we’re allowed to clutter it with tiny memorabilia that signify: “Yes, I have a life outside of work. And Ilike it.” Well, usually. Most I.T. offices are decorated with, well… leftover computer things (like CDs from AOL). Oh well.
