Almost Ideal Redesign
So yeah, I finally cleaned up my WordPress theme a little bit. I don’t think I’m gonna win any points in originality here. 
But I wanted a simple, valid, two-column liquid layout with some curved corners. (Curved corners? We’re going to look back in a few years and think those are so 2005.)
The hard part was getting the picture in the header to expand with the page. I got it mostly working - everything except the far left edge. Since I’m using two different imgaes (a la CSS Sliding Doors) I can’t get it to flow into a curved graphic… (Typing this just made me realize I could use transparency in the image and make it an overlay mask… I don’t know if I have that much time, though.)
I also tried fiddling with Rounded Corners to get it, but had even less luck.
Oh well. I’m trying to go for some improved usability and readability so this was my first step. Minor tweaks to follow.
