Hi James,

Before you completely revamp your site, it would be nice if you contacted the folks at DokuWiki about your compilation of Aspell for Win32, because they're still linking to your site (twice!) for it, on this page; http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:spell_checker. Maybe you could get them to host it somewhere else, if you're willing to let them.

I can confirm that your build works on WIn2k. (Thanks!) I even got personal wordlists working, now that I've had some time to really dig into it. I'm in the process of documenting that, which is what reminded me of your site.

Hah! I guess we all find stuff to hide behind.

I think for me that writing, whether technical or personal, is a form of artistic expression and hence a good way to exercise my creativity. I guess it's a bonus that it can be on such a wide range of topics.

Thanks for reading.

I wish I could do the same -- unfortunately, I am less inclined to discuss random thoughts and more inclined to hide behind technical jargon and such. It's easier, I think.

I have been following your blog for awhile now, and look forward to seeing it evolve. Although I enjoy both technical and personal writing, the personal information tends to be more inspiring while the technical stuff is just plain useful. They both serve a purpose, I guess, but perhaps by focusing one's efforts, a more fruitful harvest may be reaped..
