		<description>&lt;p&gt;Eric, maybe the "too much time of your hands" crowd find "Attached please find" unbearably irritating.  Do you talk this way?  Then, why would you write this way? Why not simply write "My resume is attached," or something similar that doesn't sound as if English is one's second language. Just because this stilted and ridiculous usage has been around for years doesn't make it readable or right.&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>&lt;p&gt;Odd how the "Too much time on your hands" and "get a lifer's" have the time to read all this and comment.  Anyway, this was very helpful.  I don't like the phrase either, but it had been the only way I could think of to avoid starting yet another sentence with "I", "I have attached".  The ideas in this forum provided a good solution for me.  Thank you&lt;/p&gt;
